Sections also pondered the meaning of 鈥済oodness,鈥 and many students grappled with the complex question of free will. 鈥淚t鈥檚 weird to think about how Adam and Eve knew they had done something wrong once they ate the apple,鈥 reflected programmer Lucy M. 鈥淭hey knew they had sinned without really knowing what sin was, since they had only known good before.鈥
Finished with their only class of the day, many students attended the midday Mass and then went to the Commons for a lunch of braised chicken and artichokes served over rice. There, the prefects announced a Connecticut River kayaking trip for the afternoon, which was met with vigorous applause and cheers.
